Leytonstone Arts Trail receives the keys for Woolworths
12 June: Leytonstone Arts Trail today collected the keys to Woolworths and are ready to start building the show. Over the next two weeks, artists will be busy creating site-specific installations and moving their artwork in.

Call for Volunteers
7 June: Volunteers wanted!
An opportunity to gain hands-on experience helping artists to set up and run a large exhibition space and series of smaller shows.
This year Leytonstone Arts Trail is seeking the assistance of energetic, able, reliable and engaging people, during the period 27 June - 19 July.
We need volunteers to help in the following ways:
- Prepare for and steward events such as craft fairs and film screenings
- Assist artists in exhibiting and maintaining their shows throughout Leytonstone
- Take photographs of events and exhibitions for our website and promotional purposes
- Be ready for anything - no two days will be the same!
We can offer:
- Tangible experience of arts event organisation
- A creatively vibrant and inspiring environment
- The chance to discover what arts can do for the community
- A great reference
- A fun and sociable three weeks
If you are interested in being involved, please email Holly Gosling (address below) with some information about yourself and why you would like to help run the Leytonstone Arts Trail.

Former Woolworths building to become art gallery - Waltham Forest Guardian

19 May: Leytonstone Arts Trail has just secured access from Waltham Forest Council to the huge Leytonstone ex-Woolworths building and will open it up as an Art space as part of this year's Arts Trail - from the 27th of June to the 19th of July.
Proposals for Woolworths should be received by 25 May - see Woolworths for more information.
Deadline Extended
15 May: The deadline for receipt of registration forms (and fee) is now Tuesday 19 May. Applications received after this date may not be included in the Trail Map.
There are still a few venues available - if you need help finding somewhere suitable, please contact Frances (mail@leytonstoneartstrail.org) for the latest list.
New Logo
15 May: We have a new logo. This comprises the words "Leytonstone Arts Trail", capitalised, in Alte Haas Grotesk Bold font. Any colour may be used but consideration should be given to providing adequate contrast.
The old logo may still be used where it has already been incorporated in print work etc. but the new logo should be used where possible and in all new documents.
Samples of the new logo, and a copy of Alte Haas Grotesk Bold font, are available in the downloads section.

A CELEBRATION OF LOCAL PRACTICING ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS. AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ART-HUNGRY LOCALS TO DISCOVER THE CULTURE BEING CREATED ON THEIR DOORSTEP.
A CALL FOR
- Artists to put on shows and exhibit their work
- Local organisations to host exhibitions and events
- Stall holders to sell their work at the LAT Craft Fair
There is a registration charge of £15 per show.
There may be support for students or artists on low incomes, please see the registration page.
